Tiffany and Kenny's Wedding

Another beautiful February wedding for Creative Eyes! This time we were able to capture a ton of stunning images for a dear friend of the family, Tiffany and her now husband, Kenny. I've known Tiffany since before she could walk! It was an emotional experience to photograph the wedding of someone you've watched grow up. The two of them make an adorable couple! Tiffany is in the Navy and Kenny is a Marine, yet another reason to salute this happy couple. Also, we found out how well Marines can dance! Annie and Patrick's Wedding...

It's always nice to set the tone for the year with an awesome wedding, and yesterday we did just that! Annie and Patrick are two of the most laid back and fun loving people we have ever worked with and we knew from the moment we left their wedding consultation last year that their big day was going to be a blast to shoot! We were not disappointed!!! These two love each other and it definitley showed through out the day. Everyone at the wedding was amazing! Throw in some left over snow from this week's mini-blizzard, a grand piano, quite possibly the best grooms cake ever, an awesome DJ who kept the party going all evening and you have the perfect recipe for some awesome photo opportunities. Annie's Bridal Portraits

Now that Patrick and Annie are happily married I can blog some of her amazing bridals from last month. One of the hardest parts of taking bridal portraits is waiting until after the wedding to share them with everyone... it was hard. Luckily when we shoot her "trash-the-dress" session in April we won't have to wait to post them. Enjoy!

Baby it's cold outside...

This is Texas, home of the hundred degree Augusts and eighty degree Decembers... If you can't wear shorts on Christmas day, it just doesn't feel right. With that said, we experienced what could only be described as a blizzard by true Texans today. I know 6 inches doesn't sound like a lot to "out-of-staters", but to us it might as well have been 6 feet of snow. I've lived in Texas all of my life and this is the most of the white stuff I have ever seen in the Lone Star State. Alex and I were both fortunate enough to go outside and explore today with our camera. After all, what type of photographers would we be if we didn't expose ourselves to cold, wet, harsh conditions just to get a few pictures! I took a few at Station 2 of what turned out to be a snowball ambush on the guys from station 3 as they attempted to get fuel. We also built a huge snowman... twice! Alex took Ethan to the park and let him play with all the other kids from our neighborhood. Here are a few of my faves.

Today Alex and I had the pleasure of shooting some maternity portraits for Jaalisa and Brendan. The weather was cold and rainy, so we moved in doors. (It's days like this I can justify to Alex all the mobile studio "toys" that usually sit in the closet). We got some amazing pics and unlike the last several bridal sessions we've done this week, we get to hurry up and post them too! Here are some of my faves that I had a chance to work on during the half time show!!
