This has already been such an incredible year for our little company. Even though we haven't even really hit the "busy" season yet we have already shot a half dozen weddings and it isn't even April. This past weekend Alex and I had the pleasure of working with Rachel and Kevin again. We had a lot of fun at their engagement session and were really looking forward to their big day, we were not at all disappointed! Everyone had a great time and as always we got to work with a ton of nice people and capture some amazing shots. The church in Arlington where they were married was so cool, we couldn't resist shooting as much as we could outside even though the wind kept trying to sweep us away. Despite a few gusts, the weather was perfect and that is always considered a good day in my book!

ER Spring Blitz
I have had the honor and privilege to work on a committee called "Euless Revitalization" for a little over two years. The committee is compiled of City of Euless employees from various departments and leaders from local churches. I was originally selected to represent the Fire Department, but was later asked to chair the committee, something I had zero experience in doing. The goal of the committee is to partner with local churches and businesses to help struggling families make repairs to their homes. This past weekend we held our largest event to date: 622 volunteers came together over 2 days to make repairs to 16 homes! It was amazing to hear the stories and watch lives change right in front of your eyes. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a complete stranger, so if you have never volunteered to make a difference in your community I dare you to give it a try... It's addictive!!! Here are some photos I snapped when I wasn't roofing or installing new siding on our project home.

Mallory & Cesar's Wedding
You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for an outdoor wedding... and as luck would have it, we had one scheduled! Mallory and Cesar decided to tie the knot at the beautiful Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth. Since the scene was picture perfect, our job was pretty simple. Step one: Place the cute couple in front of the gorgeous background. Step two: point the camera. Step three: click. Well, it might have been a little more technical than that, but as you can see we ended up with some beautiful images for this newlywed couple to cherish forever. Thanks again Mallory and Cesar, we enjoyed working with you!!
